Is the new One Piece live-action really worth your time?

Netflix just so recently released the newest One Piece live-action TV show on August 31st, 2023. If you want to watch the series but need to know if it is worth your time, Judging from many online reviews from different websites, most of the comments left on multiple chatting platforms regarding the show were positive.

Some of One Piece's earlier/original fans looked forward to the new show and agreed that the live-action successfully represented the “spirit” of the anime form. Even though both forms are entirely different, viewers still agree that they portrayed the characters and the events from the anime well and “still felt true to the heart of the series”.

On the other hand, some of the newer viewers who do not have as much knowledge of the anime were sceptical about the show at first, contemplating if it was worth their time, as they had no idea what to expect. After watching the show, numerous viewers fell in love with the concept of the new show and were suddenly intrigued to watch the anime series as well! Although some audience members may find it sudden and hard to follow as everything happens so fast, it is easy to adjust and adapt to when you are further into the story.

Overall, it is widely agreed that the Netflix live-action One Piece series is worth your time, and even if you weren’t an original fan of the anime form, you should watch it to experience the unique story style of the series.
